Six rules to keep wine

In order to age properly, a wine must be kept away from the sun light, with a constant humidity (not too humid, not too dry),

above all, a wine must remain at a constant temperature, ideally between 12°C and 14°C.
a wine must be stored in a horizontal position (for the cork not to dry out).

Not all wines are good for ageing. Only the best wines will get better with age. Look at the indications we give on every product page and you will have an idea as to how long you can keep your wines in your wine cabinet.

Remember that keeping your wines at room temperature can be very harmful. Only a few days of exposure to sunlight and to a temperature of 25°C or more can literally kill your bottles.

Spirits (Cognac, Whisky, Vodka…) won’t age in the bottle. They are fine if kept in a closet at room temperature. Non-Vintage Champagnes are not meant for ageing either but they are less resistant than spirits to temperature influence.
