"Dark red. It does have some new oak aromas, but they are restrained and rather a classic Left Bank scent of dark fruit, cedar, graphite and blackcurrant is to the fore. All the components are there: healthy fruit that isn't over the top in any way, very strong and drying tannins, moderate acidity and a lovely fresh, herbal aftertaste. It is too young to bring pleasure now, but I think I will enjoy this very much in the medium term. "

I had the opportunity to drink that wine recently. It is very tannic, and has a strong taste for me. However I still could smell flavors of red fruits, which is very pleasant. This Bordeaux wine also lasts for a long time, which would be perfect during dinner, with meat!!!!

I tried it last Friday, without any food. It has class and elegance as a great Bordeaux should have. Tannins are still a bit high for my taste, but it showed some aging potential for sure!

卡洛妮堡
1648年，La Tour St Lambert地区一个叫Denis de Mullet的当地地主把地租给了一个农民,交换条件是生产的葡萄酒。从此，酒庄宣告正式成立。Caronne是由一个当地叫“Carona”的温泉衍变而来的，而Gemme是由“James”误写而来。在中世纪，这个酒庄位于一个教区内。这个教区是the Templar Headquaters（毗邻一个叫Benon的岛屿）的一个分区。在从Blaye去Saint Jacques de Compostelle的路上，朝圣者经过这个河口。他们会在这里歇会，然后继续赶路，穿过Landes，抵到西班牙边界。革命期间，教区被废除，也差不多就在这个时候，卡洛妮葡萄酒生产开始。20世纪，卡洛妮的主人将它的所有权转给了Emile和Eugène Borie。Eugène的儿子们放弃了继承属于Eugène的那一部分财产，让给了他们的叔叔，而他们自己则购买了Ch.
