According to Graeme Barrow:
"Wine of the Week. A few wine companies can now claim to make Marlborough sauvignon blanc as good as the Cloudy Bay, but this remains the icon sauvignon, the one to be found in the specialist wine shops in the financial heart of London and the one served abroad when the host wishes to impress. It retains its individual style too. It has the usual passionfruit and citrus aromas and flavours with a bit of green capsicum on the nose as well, and something of a herbal flavour. It is balanced, rich and concentrated, with excellent length and finish."

According to Islandguy on wine.com (Mars 2008):
"I've loved this wine for years, and buy it whenever I can find it. It's a light, fruity wine that reminds me of sunny days even when it's snowing outside."

According to Robert Parker:
"The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc suffered poor flowering: moderate intensity on the nose with scents of gooseberry, wild hedgerow and a touch of chalk, it reveals a good sense of minerality after aeration, the palate well-balanced with kiwi fruit and ripe green apples, leading towards an understated finish. What one might call a “correct” Sauvignon Blanc."

According to the Wine Spectator:
"Crisp, tart and fragrant, with very good intensity to grass, lime peel, grapefruit and sweet pea flavors. Sea salt and fresh herb undertones extend through the finish. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes."
Rating: 88.
